Privacy Notice
This notice explains what personal data XB Brothers collects when you use xbbrothers.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It is written to meet the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
Who we are

What we collect, and why
Enquiries and quote requests
When you use the contact form, the “Request a Quote” popup or the WhatsApp button, you give us your name, company, email address, phone number and the details of what you need. We use this to answer you, prepare a quotation and, if you become a customer, to supply and invoice you. The contact form is delivered to us by Formspree; the popup and chat are handled by our own website functions.
Support chat
The chat on this site answers product questions and can take your contact details for a quote. What you type is sent to Anthropic, the provider of the AI model that drafts the replies, and the conversation is logged so our team can follow up and improve the answers. Do not enter payment card details or anything sensitive in the chat; a member of the team can take those by phone.
Analytics and site performance
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from.
It sets cookies (such as _ga) and records your approximate location, device
and the pages you visit. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
Neither is used to identify you by name.
Technical logs
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard request logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) to keep the site secure and available.
Legal basis
We process enquiry and chat data because you ask us to (consent, and the steps needed to enter into a contract with you). We process analytics and technical logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, useful website, and you can opt out of analytics at any time (see Cookies).
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers that run parts of this site for us, each bound by its own privacy terms:
- Formspree — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
- Anthropic — generates the support-chat replies from what you type.
- Google — Google Analytics 4, and Google Sheets where chat and quote records are kept for follow-up.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and provides cookieless analytics and security.
- Meta (WhatsApp) — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is governed by WhatsApp's terms.
- Amazon.ae — purchases made through the XB Store on Amazon are governed by Amazon's privacy notice, not this one.
Some of these providers process data outside the UAE. We rely on their published safeguards and contractual terms for those transfers.
How long we keep it
Enquiry, quote and chat records are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request and, if you become a customer, for the life of the business relationship and the period UAE commercial and tax law requires us to keep records. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard settings. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).
Your rights
Under the UAE PDPL you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- stop processing for direct marketing;
- provide your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent you have given, without affecting what was done before.
Write to [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We will confirm your identity and answer within the period the law allows. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets itself are the Google Analytics 4 cookies described above. Your choice of light or dark theme is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and never leaves your device. To refuse analytics, block cookies for this site in your browser settings or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Children
This site is for businesses and adult motorists and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
When we change how the site handles data we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the page for a period after they take effect.
